Among thousands of cases we handled for our Clients some of them concerned natural disaster damage. Our firm was involved in proceedings that resulted from huge fires for instance: on industrial area of Wifam’s complex in Łódź, rail crash involving a train carrying tanks of oil in Białystok, or fire of the huge oil filters recycling company in Upper Silesia.
We represented our Clients in cases related to financial settlements of contracts for building road and water infrastructure and in cases regarding construction disasters and damage caused by contractors during the building process.
Since 2004 we have handled one of the biggest “decree” cases concerning building complex, so-called the Krakow Episcopal Palace at the corner of Senatorska and Miodowa Street in Warsaw. This case also involved over one hundred million claim on paying the remuneration for groundless usufruct. Regarding this case we have been cooperating with Domański Zakrzewski Palinka law firm since 2016. Currently, by virtue of law, the General Counsel to the Treasury is responsible for leading the case.
